Substitutions & Variations
- Substitute butter with Margarine. Use the same amount for a non-dairy option.
- Don’t like chives? Substitute with finely chopped green onions or even parsley if you want to.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce for some heat.
💭Top Tip
Always cook butter on low flame or it can burn, resulting in a bitter flavor in the sauce.

How to Store the Leftovers
Allow the sauce to cool down to room temperature before storing it. This will help prevent condensation. Transfer the cooled sauce to a labeled airtight container.
Store the sauce in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Tips & Tricks to Nail the Recipe
To use it again, get it out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for an hour.
Reheating the sauce in the microwave can cause it to separate and may also result in uneven heating, so I wouldn't recommend it.
