So of course, I had to put together a nice dairy-free version of the dry mix for all my vegan readers.
After a few trials and playing around with the ingredients and using different herbs and spices, I finally managed to put together a dry mix that tastes almost as delicious as you would expect.

How to Store the Vegan Ranch Seasoning Mix
I would recommend that you make a big batch of this Ranch mix and store it for later. It tastes so much better than store bought, and when stored correctly, you can actually make it last almost as much as the seasoning packets you’d find.
You can transfer the dairy free Ranch mix in a clean glass jar just like I did, or in a mason jar if you want it in your pantry.
Just make sure you’re storing it in a clean, moisture-free container and environment for it to last longer.
Tips & Tricks to Nail the Recipe
- You can also add a bit of nutritional yeast to the vegan Ranch mix to lend it that cheesy flavor.
- Mustard powder can be another great addition to the mix, and can get it some more of that earthy, peppery flavor.
- If you don’t have the dairy free milk powder that the recipe calls for, you could make cashew milk powder with some ground roasted cashew and use it for the recipe.
How to Make the Cashew Milk Powder
To make the dried cashew milk powder, you’ll need to start off with lightly roasted cashews. They ideally need to have as much of the moisture removed as possible.
Then, you need to add the cashews to a food processor and pulse them until you get a slightly grainy powder-like consistency.
You can then let this mixture air dry for a while before you use it to make the homemade vegan Ranch mix.
How to Use the Vegan Ranch Seasoning Mix
Ready to put this great recipe to use? Here are some ideas and inspirations to get you started.
To Make Ranch Dressing
The simplest, easiest way to put this mix to use is to use it as the base to make vegan Ranch dressing.
To do this, all you’ll need to do is combine about 2 tablespoon Ranch mix on hand with 1 cup vegan mayo and 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar.
This concoction can be used as vegan Ranch dressing or dip, and can be used in so many different ways.
To Make Ranch Dip
You can also make a simple Ranch dip by combining the mix with some vegan sour cream or mayo until you get the right flavor and consistency.
