Sriracha Aioli
Creamy, spicy and tangy all at the same time- this Sriracha aioli is going to be your next favorite condiment of all time.
It has a beautiful balance of flavors, and barely takes 5 minutes to put together. Team it up with my sundried tomato aioli or black pepper aioli and serve with crispy breaded shrimp and fries- everyone's going to devour them- I promise!

Making bold, flavorful condiments is my latest obsession, and I've been experimenting with Asian flavors a lot recently.
My Schezwan sauce, Thai dipping sauce and Sichuan chili oil have all been such huge hits, but I know a lot of my readers have sensitive taste buds. So I thought of mellowing it down a bit- by combining a classic Sriracha with something creamy. And that's when I thought of this recipe.

What's So Great About the Recipe?
- It has a beautiful balance of flavors. If you find plain Sriracha overwhelmingly spicy, you'll really enjoy this toned-down version.
- This party favorite comes together super quick, and doesn't need any cooking- just like my cottage cheese ranch dip. Simply mix everything together and that's it.
- You can modify it to your liking too! Adjust and swap the ingredients around to get it to taste the way you want!
Recipe Ingredients

Mayonnaise: The best quality mayonnaise you can get. Don't opt for the low fat version here- the flavor won't be that great.
Sriracha: Or your favorite hot sauce. I use my garlic habanero hot sauce whenever I run out of Sriracha- it's got similar flavors.
Garlic: To add that extra garlicky flavor to the aioli.
Lime: For that citrusy zing! I used both lime juice and zest.
Salt and pepper: Just a bit, to season.
See recipe card for quantities.
Substitutions & Variations
- To lend the Sriracha mayo an extra smoky flavor, use air fried roasted garlic instead of fresh garlic.
- You can also use a seasoned salt instead of regular salt to amp up the flavor of the aioli. I love using my citrus infused salt and garlic parsley salt here!
- To make a vegan version of this recipe, simply swap the regular mayonnaise with vegan mayo.

💭Top Tip
Depending on your tolerance for spice, you can reduce or increase the amount of Sriracha you're mixing into the mayo.

Tips & Tricks to Nail the Recipe
- To make the aioli slightly healthier, reduce the amount of mayonnaise you're using and use unsweetened Greek yogurt instead.
- For extra heat and a pop of color, you can also chop up some fresh jalapenos and add them to the mix. Whenever I run out of fresh jalapenos I add my homemade dehydrated jalapeno flakes.
- You can also finely chop up some parsley or cilantro and mix it in for a nice bit of freshness. I did the same when I made my jalapeno mayo dip.
How to Use Sriracha Aioli
Sriracha aioli can be a fantastic dip for your homemade fries, deep fried battered fish and almost any other snacks that you like. It also turns out to be an incredible sandwich spread or a burger sauce- just like my favorite Chipotle aioli.
It's also a fantastic side to your appetizers like Air Fryer buffalo chicken tenders, my favorite crispy tobacco onions and of course my stuffed fried olives. In fact, you can also use it to top your rice and taco bowls, make deviled eggs using it and pair it with crab cakes and fish tacos.

Troubleshooting and FAQs
You can refrigerate the leftover aioli for up to a week. Simply transfer it to an airtight container and use it chilled or at room temperature.
Using low fat mayonnaise can make the Sriracha aioli turn too watery. It's best to use thicker, full fat mayonnaise here.
