Tips & Tricks to Nail the Recipe
- Make sure you remove the stems off the parsley, and just use the leaves. You can use a herb stripper to make it easier.
- Place a rack over the parsley before air frying. This will help keep the parsley leaves from flying around in the Air Fryer.
- Avoid overcrowding the basket with too much of the parsley. It will only take longer to dry out completely.
- Keep an eye on the basket at the 10 minute mark to see if the parsley looks dry. Remember that it will dry out further as it cools down.
- You want to dehydrate the herb- not cook it. Make sure you use the lowest temperature setting you can.
How to Air Fried Dried Parsley
You can use the dried parsley in a lot of ways- it's super versatile. It can be a simple garnish for almost any of your recipes, and can be added to dips and sauces- like I did when I made my Chimichurri aioli and garlic avocado spread.
Sometimes, I also add it to my homemade rice seasoning and homemade Ramen seasoning for a bit of extra color. I also ended up using it for my homemade vegetable bouillon cubes when I ran out of fresh parsley.
