Mango Hababero Salsa

This mango habanero salsa combines sweet mango with roasted tomato and habanero peppers for a smoky, sweet, and spicy salsa.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mango
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 habanero pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1-2 garlic
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 1 lime juiced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon oil

Instructions
 

  • Dice the tomato and onion and roughly chop the habanero peppers.
  • Arrange the tomato, habaneros, and onion on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for about 10 minutes until slightly charred.
  • Allow the roasted vegetables to cool.
  • Add them to a blender along with the garlic, cilantro, diced mango, salt, pepper, and lime juice.
  • Blend until slightly chunky.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Adjust the number of habaneros according to your preferred spice level.
  • For a smoother salsa, blend for a little longer.
  • For a chunkier salsa, use short pulses and avoid over-blending.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
