Start by preheating your Air Fryer and getting your ingredients ready.
Wash, dry and chop the habanero peppers into large chunks.
Transfer to the Air Fryer basket and cook for about 30-40 minutes.
Once the peppers have completely dried up, get them out and allow them to cool down.
Add the dried peppers into a bowl of honey over a double boiler for 10-20 minutes, cool and then strain the honey.
Notes
Make sure you wear gloves while handling the peppers. They can be quite hot.
Remember to use clean and dry glass jars or airtight containers to store the hot honey. Moisture is what causes bacterial growth and spoilage of this infused honey.
Whenever you're using the honey, make sure you use a clean, dry spoon to spoon it out, and then put the lid back on the jar to prevent contamination.
