Ingredients

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns

Instructions

  • Combine crushed black peppercorns, turmeric, honey and chopped ginger in a glass jar.
  • Next, add in the lemon juice and zest and give it all a good mix.
  • Allow this to sit overnight at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  • Use it whenever you want.

Notes

  • Give the infused honey a quick mix every time you want to use it- sometimes, the turmeric and other ingredients can settle down at the bottom.
  • Use a clean, dry spoon to mix it- you don't want any moisture getting in, as it can cause the honey to spoil.
