- 1 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 inch piece ginger
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 teaspoon black peppercorns
Combine crushed black peppercorns, turmeric, honey and chopped ginger in a glass jar.
Next, add in the lemon juice and zest and give it all a good mix.
Allow this to sit overnight at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
Use it whenever you want.
- Give the infused honey a quick mix every time you want to use it- sometimes, the turmeric and other ingredients can settle down at the bottom.
- Use a clean, dry spoon to mix it- you don't want any moisture getting in, as it can cause the honey to spoil.
